Varta Hydrogen H² generating cells are used for the displacement of any kind of liquids, gels, pastes and granules, and analytics or sensing with pure H².

Gas Generating Cells are safe, compact, portable and easy to handle. Only a resistor is necessary to activate the hydrogen production without any additional power source. Thus, the cell can be activated and stopped at any time.

How it works:

  • A power independent (energy self sufficient) small innovative „special cell“ from VARTA
  • Cell can be activated by „short-circuiting“ simply with a resistor
  • This special VARTA product starts to generate pure larger amounts of hydrogen (H2)
  • The amount of hydrogen gas output can be controlled with a potentiometer
  • An innovative mini hydrogen gas generator = pressure source
